The sea was whitecapping so thought ive give it a go with the 5.4. Didnt bother with my wetsuit as it was so warm and beautiful red hot sunshine.
It looked pretty gusty when I was rigging up and once out there it was unsailable with the gusts and big lulls. I launched and a gust came through that took me a couple of 100 metres and then a lull came along where it was breathless for a few mins so I was unable to waterstart stranded. Eventually managed to get going and came back in.
Went out for one more go but it was really unpleasent so decided to call it a day and drive further round the coast where the wind would be more cross shore.
